    Hi, I am using the Eggnews Pro theme and am looking to narrow the page width (including the header, menu, widget, footer, etc) for desktop view without the widget mashing into the content. Looking for some “additional CSS” help.

    Thank you for using our pro theme.
    Please go to Appearance >> Customize >> General Settings >> Website Layout

    Hi,

    I currently have the “Boxed Layout” option checked. I am looking to reduce the page width a little more through the “Additional CSS” option. I have played around with it, but keep running into the problem of either mashing the side widget into the content, or the content running over into the widget. Here is a link to my 5k training program, which is one of my pages with plenty of content down the page, which should give you a better idea of what my layout looks like.

    Thanks in advance,

    Scott Carhoun

    Hello Scott Carhoun,
    You can use following code
    .boxed_layout #page{
    max-width: putmaxwidth
    }
    .teg-container{
    max-width: less than 30px of #page
    }
    Example:
    .boxed_layout #page{
    max-width: 1000px
    }
    .teg-container{
    max-width: 970px;
    }
    Let us know if you have any query about the theme we are always ready to help you.
    Regards,
